Embark on the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. This forest is home to the magnificent giant mountain gorillas and a variety of other forest primates including the blue monkey as well as a wealth of bird life. The long drive will be broken with en-route lunch meals.
You will get ready, along with your packed lunches to embark on the lifetime memorable experience in this magnificent forest for gorilla safari in Uganda. The trail you use may reward you with exciting moments of the giant mountain gorillas in Bwindi this will be a reward of the ultimate gorilla experience’ as well as other primates that inhabit the forest. This may take you about some time in the jungle. You will return to the lodge for dinner and peaceful overnight at the safari lodge.
Gorilla trekking is unpredictable. It’s difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike. The gorilla excursion can take from 2 up to 8 hours. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. A good physical condition is recommended. For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. A ranger will brief you on how to behave with the gorillas.

Each bend in the river brings yet another thunderous roar from the cascading falls ahead. This truly is whitewater rafting at its finest. We’ll lunch on our beautiful mid-river island beneath the shade of the trees. The back-to backdrops of “Overtime” and “Retrospect” provide some of the most technical and sustained rafting to be found anywhere. We spend the night on another beautiful mid-river island. The campsite comes alive after dark to the sound of African music and dancing. In the morning you’ll raft down to Nabuganyi – the pools between the rapids are larger but don’t be fooled – the crashing waves of “Mulalu” and “Potali” will take your breath away!
