Murchison Falls National Park contains the highest numbers of wildlife species in Uganda and some of the animals seen in the park are; Nile crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants and many others. If you visit Murchison falls national park expect to view the Park’s wildlife species in plenty and also enjoy the landscape of the Park which is too attractive and you will still enjoy the dramatic Murchison Falls National Park which bisects the Park.

The park provides various activities such as boat cruises, nature walks, bird watching, game viewing, game drives, cultural encounters and the park consists of good accommodation such as Bwana tented safari camp, Nile safari lodge, Pakuba safari lodge, Sambiya River lodge, Paraa safari lodge, Chobe safari lodge, Murchison River lodge, Bakers safari lodge and many others. Kidepo Valley National Park protects almost all African wildlife species and if you are to view at least each of African wildlife species, the best place to go is Kidepo. The park is found in the northern parts of Uganda (Karamoja) and it is rugged with savanna and occupied by the Morungole Mountain. The park is home to lions, African elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, spotted hyenas, Oribi, Okapis, Warthogs, bush bucks, bush dogs, Nile crocodiles, hippos, Jackson’s hartebeest, bat-eared foxes, cheetahs and so many others. The park inhabits over 77 mammal species and over 500 bird species, it also consists of the Kanangarok hot spring which contains of warm water and can be used for boiling eggs and plantains. Accommodations at the park include Apoka Safari Lodge, Nga’moru Wilderness Camp and Apoka Rest Camp.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is among the top Ugandan national parks and it is most popular for keeping the tree climbing lions which are viewed in Ishasha sector of the Park. It protects a variety of wildlife almost 100 mammal species and over 600 bird species. The Park originates from Lake George in the North-east and stretches to Lake Edward in South-west of the Kazinga channel in the Park connects the two Lakes.

Some of the park’s residents include the African Buffaloes, Antelopes, Baboons, Warthogs, Elephants, Lions, African Leopards, Chimpanzees, Uganda Kob, Hippos, Nile crocodiles and many others. The Park is also famous for its volcanic features including deep craters and volcanic cones. Most of the deep craters include the crater Lakes such as Lake Katwe which is most known for being a source of Salt (it is where salt is extracted from).

The park lies in the western parts of Uganda and it possesses the shady canopy of Maramagambo forest where various caves in the Park are found including the Bat cave which is a room for visitors to observe the bats and pythons. Popular activities in the Park are bird watching, Chimpanzee tracking at Kyambura Gorge, Game drives, Nature walks which provides scenic views of Mweya peninsula and Ishasha River, boat cruises at Kazinga channel which situated in the Centre of the park and cultural encounters where you will interact with the local community people.
